Immediately after the release of clancodes and the launch of the e107clan website; it's need became clear. The idea of the clancodes plugin has received broad acceptance and as such I started developing the plugin further in a fast pace.
Version 1.0 added two bbcodes; user and flag.
Version 1.1 added the shortcodes for a summary of news, rwar-matches and forumposts; additionally it allowed to show country and online status in forumposts and profile. It replaced the default news author link with a format like the user bbcode.
Version 1.2 beta adds the admin preferences in which to set the number of items in the summaries, as an extra feature it adds the requested feature of showing a roster; this is a simple list in the format of the user bbcode and can be added anywhere in your theme.
Version 1.2 will be released once it's been properly tested. In the meantime I will start development of a division, team plugin from which to built several shortcodes to add a random team on your theme etc..
This plugin allows any website to add 2 new bbcodes to any form. Once uploaded it's automatically installed (see the plugin menu).

Use the [.flag] bbcode Add [.flag]uk[/flag] to any post and it will automatically generate a flag. Like:
Use the [.user] bbcode Use either the player's username or userid; then add [.user]Luceos[/user]. Automatically a flag will be generated and the user's realname with in the middle his/her nickname; like this:
Today I decided to focus my knowledge of adapting e107 to the gamer's need into one website. e107clan.org will be the home of an addon for e107 including plugins, shortcodes, bbcodes and everything else clans, teams and gaming communities need to get the flexibility and stability of the e107 CMS into their own website.
I will be looking for people to aid me on this website and start producing complete e107 game packages once the first plugins are bundled. The code I wrote for my own communities will be published once they are re-coded for public use.
